Importance of Predator-Proofing

Ensuring the safety of our beloved rabbits is our top priority when considering adopters for our furry friends. That's why we stress the importance of having a predator-proof enclosure 🏡🛡️

Today, we've encountered feedback from one person suggesting that this requirement is too demanding for potential adopters. We understand concerns, but here's why it matters so much to us:

Rabbits aren't just pets; they're family. As their guardians, it's our duty to keep them safe from harm, including potential predators. As pets, their prey instincts are decreased compared to their wild cousins. If we are welcoming animals into our home, their lives become our responsibility 🦊

Predators lurk everywhere, even if they're not always visible. You may not have seen a fox in 10 years, but the day you do may be a day too late. Sadly, we've seen too many cases where beloved pets fall victim to these dangers 💔

We refuse to compromise on the welfare of our animals. Their lives should not be compromised for the sake of saving a little time or money. Investing a bit more effort into a predator-proof enclosure could mean all the difference between life and tragedy 🌟

We hope you understand that our adoption criteria aren't meant to be obstacles; they're born out of deep care and concern for our animals 🙏

We're always happy to work with you to create a safe and enriching environment for your rabbits and guinea pigs 🐇💕
